A day long course that traverses the territories of theoretical rigor, practical exploration & skill development. This workshop will touch on the history of the female body throughout history.
We will illuminate some of the injustices towards women within western medical science, illuminating why supporting our health & the development of our learning within Herbal Medicine is an act of resilience & a strengthening of inter-species allyship.
Collectively we’ll discuss excerpts from Sylvia Federici’s seminal book ‘Caliban & The Witch’ re-membering forgotten female histories as a means to recover, reconnect & restore our relationship with our own bodies, and the communal bodies of all our kin.
Lunch - Homemade Wild Soup with Homemade Savoury Danishes stuffed with Wild Greens.
After lunch we’ll dive into the world of sensory tea tastings & the explorations of Herbs for Women’s Health.
From there we’ll move into sensory mark making with Natural Pigments in the beautiful landscape of West Yorkshire. Learners will be encouraged to journal throughout the day to archive freshest thoughts.
All materials, food, herbs provided.
